Chilean visual artist, film director, and video editor based in Germany since 2015. My interest is centered around visual culture studies and auteur films, with a focus on documentary formats. Parallel to my film practice, I love to create audiovisual projects with musicians and artists, and document different types of events.
I moved from Chile almost eight years ago in search of new study opportunities and experiences. Although I was not born in the smart phone era, video and above all photography were part of my life from the beginning. However, it was not until after I migrated, that audiovisual media became the main tool of my artistic work. Through the audiovisual montage I found not only a way to express myself, but also a way to think with the images that surrounded my daily life in a different and profound way, allowing me to deepen my cultural memory and my relationship with art.
